Integrating artificial intelligence (AI) technologies in education has opened new avenues for enhancing teaching and learning processes. This study explores the feasibility of utilizing AI in flipped classrooms, aiming to uncover its benefits, identify the challenges educators face, and propose solutions to maximize its potential. The research employed a descriptive-analytical methodology and surveyed 140 teachers to gather insights on their experiences and perspectives.

The findings revealed that AI is highly effective in flipped classrooms, offering tools for immediate feedback, improving lesson planning, optimizing resource allocation, and fostering students' higher-order thinking skills. Promising applications include designing remedial plans for learning difficulties, addressing common errors, and enhancing the effectiveness of flipped classrooms. Furthermore, AI technologies can boost student engagement, facilitate interaction, and improve teachers' practices in providing feedback and assessing instruction.

Despite these opportunities, several challenges were highlighted. Teachers noted a lack of professional development programs on using AI, the high costs of AI technologies, administrative burdens within schools that hinder effective implementation, and schools' insufficient readiness to adopt AI tools. These barriers reduce the efficiency and impact of AI in flipped classroom settings.

The study proposed several recommendations to address these challenges. These include designing practical guides for AI applications in flipped classrooms, developing tailored training programs for teachers, and identifying the most effective AI tools for teaching. Importantly, the research found no statistically significant differences in the responses based on gender, specialization, academic qualifications, or years of teaching experience, indicating that these challenges and opportunities are widely shared.

This study emphasizes the need for strategic investment in professional development and school infrastructure to unlock AI's full potential in flipped classrooms. By addressing the challenges and leveraging AI's capabilities, educational institutions can transform teaching and learning, ultimately improving educational outcomes and preparing students for a technology-driven future.
