POSSIBILITIES FOR SUPPORTING EDUCATION AND ENHANCING THE QUALITY AND EXPERTISE OF TEACHERS OF SLOVAK CHILDREN LIVING ABROAD

This paper explores the opportunities for supporting education and improving the professional quality and expertise of teachers working with Slovak children living abroad. It identifies key strategies for enhancing educational outcomes and highlights the importance of targeted teacher training as a vital component of these efforts.
The article provides an overview of educational initiatives implemented in the current year across various countries where Slovak communities live. These programmes focus on equipping teachers with methodologies and skills tailored to the specific needs of Slovak children in diaspora communities. Examples of training types include workshops on cultural adaptation, innovative teaching practices, and language preservation strategies.
Furthermore, the paper presents feedback from participating teachers, gathered through surveys and interviews conducted post-training. This feedback offers valuable insights into the effectiveness of these initiatives, with participants reporting increased confidence, improved teaching techniques, and a deeper understanding of the challenges faced by Slovak children living abroad. The findings underline the necessity of continuous professional development tailored to the unique demands of educating diaspora children. The paper concludes by outlining recommendations for future support mechanisms and training models aimed at fostering inclusive and high-quality education for Slovak children worldwide.
