The project Matemática é para Todos (Mathematics is for Everyone) aims to promote the teaching of Mathematics through the creation and dissemination of free educational games, aimed at students from Elementary to High School and aligned with the guidelines of the Base Comum Curricular Nacional (Brazil’s National Common Curricular Base - BNCC). With the aim of making accessible high quality iterative learning material to public schools, the project develops board and card games that develop fundamental mathematical skills, offering innovative and playful resources to support teachers and engage students. This work also presents the development of an experimental model aimed at quantitatively evaluating the impact of these interventions on mathematical learning, taking one of the games created as an example. The experiment will be implemented in the field with broad participation, involving 31,502 students and 354 teachers from public schools, in three stages of data collection: an initial control test, two phases of comparative intervention (with different groups alternating between expository class and educational game) and a swapped sorting phase. The objective is to validate a robust model for the analysis of the causal effect of the intervention on mathematical learning, seeking empirical evidence on the effectiveness of educational games as pedagogical tools. The expected results aim to support the continuity and expansion of the use of games as complementary resources in mathematics teaching, in addition to providing data-based guidelines for future experimental studies in the area of mathematics education.
