With over 21 years of experience, Instituto Crescer is a non-profit Social Assistance institution that works to develop projects and programs aimed at the professional qualification of adolescents and young people in order to enable their inclusion in the World of Work and provide improving the quality of life of young people and their families.
EQI Investimentos was founded 16 years ago by Juliano Custódio, current CEO. Today, with 34 billion assets under custody, it has established itself as one of the main companies in the investment sector, currently serving a base of 75 thousand clients, which continues to grow. The solidity is confirmed by partnerships such as the one with BTG Pactual, which became an investment partner with 49% of the organization in 2020. Born as an office of autonomous agents, called Index Investimentos, it gained space in 2014, with the creation of the blog Eu Quero Investir, which uncovered the universe of investments, demystifying and democratizing them. In all these years, EQI has gained ground by generating trust, focusing on innovation, serving customers well and with long-term thinking. Its purpose is to “Create opportunities that transform projects into achievements” and the vision of being the best option in financial solutions, creating relationships of partnership and trust. With more than 1,200 employees, it is present in all Brazilian states with 11 own offices (Itajaí, Joinville, Chapecó, Curitiba, Florianópolis, São Paulo, Belo Horizonte, Brasília, Cuiabá, Maceió and Manaus) and 32 partner offices (B2Bs), in addition to having an operational unit in Miami (USA).
The Certifica + Project aimed to qualify participants for access to the world of work by developing skills and competencies to work in the financial market. The teaching and learning process is centered on young people, adapted to the demands of a constantly changing world in order to promote the development of autonomy and creativity.
Activities that enable the development of youth protagonism represent a response to the demand for education that goes beyond the accumulation of knowledge, aiming at the integral development of young people and enabling them to become protagonists in the world of work and in life.
The project included theoretical and practical activities structured based on the triad: Complexity, Transdisciplinarity and Ecotraining, assumptions of the International Network of Creative Schools (RIEC), of which Instituto Crescer has been part since 2019.
The project activities were developed from Monday to Friday from 1:30 pm to 5:30 pm in the classrooms and laboratories of the University of Vale do Itajaí - UNIVALI, a Crescer partner institution, and the curricular components were constructed according to the following axes of knowledge: Oral and Written Communication, World of work, Technologies and Personal Development and Employability.
The project also included fortnightly mentoring sessions, which aimed to enable young people to learn about the day-to-day lives of the company's professionals and the most varied areas of activity.
