THE POWER ELECTRONICS SUBJECTS TEACHING USING CONSTRUCTIVISM

The Power electronics subjects teaching in a constructivism approach.
A new model of Education will begin next period at the University, this model involves the abilities of teacher to communicate and manage the teaching and learning process by applying the constructivism method. The Faculty of electronics have two major study programs (mechatronics and electronics) both include Power electronics subjects, in consideration of the growing up rapidly at the faculty, big changes were needed to incorporate these subjects into the new education model.
This paper presents the evidences of the process changes from the traditional way to teach to the newest one. This work includes the course content, the learning environments, the learning objects changes.
