The purpose of this work is the approach of a model for an adaptation process to deliver educational content in a learning management system according to a user learning style. To achieve this, a user model is presented based on the learning styles proposed by Felder and Silverman and used to design an adaptive model which integrates learning styles and perceiving measures (proposed by a group of teaching experts) of LOM resources types.
We use machine learning techniques, resource labeling standards and intelligent agents developing in the adaptation process design by means of sorting the order presentation of learning resources to an specific user learning style.
To probe the adaptation model, we develop a testing scenario over the learning management system dotLRN. And finally we describe the contribution of this work to ADAPTAPLan project.
