Most graduates of an engineering degree in the Philippines need to successfully pass the licensure examination given by a regulating body before they can practice their profession. Accreditation agencies for quality education consider this as one of the criteria for the issuance of the certificate of accreditation. Many higher education institutions in the Philippines work to ensure that institution can be certified and their graduates can practice. The University of Mindanao had revised their curriculum to include the correlation course. The researchers established the relationship between the academic performance of the graduates in the correlation course ( EE500) and the licensure overall performance. The result indicates that EE500 (correlation course for Electrical Engineering) contributed to the success of the licensure performance of the graduates.
