The relationship between computer science and mathematics is very strong in the professional world, making computer science a must for any student of mathematics; nevertheless, most math students find computer science difficult or wrongly consider it not necessary for their professional future so the contents and teaching methodology must be carefully designed to address these issues. We describe our experience teaching an intermediate level computer programming course in math and make a special emphasis on evaluating the quality of the teaching process in order to achieve maximum student satisfaction.
