Teaching poses now new challenges with use of technologies. Along XX century Art History used to be constructed with quiet images, photographs and texts. Students learned and worked with whole talks with these materials, but now, they have another culture, visual culture, and they recognise themselves in interactive Works process.
That’s why our research group worked in establishing new possibilities in teaching for students in art history contents.
At first we transferred and organised our analogical personal archives in a big digital archive with more than 800 documentary films in art with a professional Server.
Second, we established interactive tools from our web site research group (IDECA)
In order to provide students access to a new concept of work in arts history: the critical construction by themselves.
Third, we let them visit and see all documentary works in IDECA archive, but only in Faculty because of author rights respect, and let them construct their own arts history with use of fragments of these documentaries, texts and images. They use different software for texts and video editing.
This constitutes a new step for advanced in e-Learning tools, and is an interactive way for study in arts history with a compromise for students in their own critical speech.
