FOOD DESIGN AND PROJECTION IN BRAZIL

This article is a part of product design exploratory study, and addresses the issue of developing food products with proposals for improvements to the industry through the actions of design as a guide for the development of an infant juice. It presents some aspects observed during the process, making a provocation on the possible applications of design in non-traditional areas, such as grocery, assessing the possible benefits to act on new product development, estimulating this field that is professionally and academically little explored in Brazil . It also offers some conclusions about the integration of design in the Brazilian agribusiness sector, showing that interaction and participation of many professionals increases the competitiveness of the product in the market, among other results.
