The e-Barnabodha is a Computer Aided Learning Package (CALP), helps an enthusiast learner to know Oriya language through computer. Since Barnabodha mainly focuses on the beginners who begin their journey to be a part of the literate world, hence the application is designed in such a manner that the learner won’t feel that he is reading in a traditional classroom. It starts with Oriya alphabet with audio and figure in which the character is embedded after that it leads to meaningful word formation involving those alphabets. At the end of the each chapter a list of exercise with self evaluation is provided. This package is designed in such a way that it can be run over the internet also, so people who are present in different location of the globe and like to learn Oriya, can take the advantage by sitting at their home with PC.
