THE ANTHROPOLOGY IN THE EDUCATION AREA: AN ETHNOGRAPHIC LOOK BASED ON THE ROMA MINORITY IN A NEIGHBORHOOD OF VALENCIA

Based on the analysis of educational phenomenon among the Roma minority in a neighbourhood of Valencia, the article proposes that the ethnographic approach of Anthropology of Education should urgently be incorporated into the process of continuing education for teachers. It argues that this innovation in education would favour the potentially valuable convergence of Ethnography and Pedagogy.
