The ubiquitous, anytime, anywhere, untethered serviceability of mobile electronic systems has lead to its vast spreading and extensive use specially in the fields of telecommunications. The mobile communication systems like all other developments in telecommunication reflected positively on education technology by complementing established education practices and developing new ways of learning such as on-line education and e-learning. However; in the fields of science and engineering education these new techniques are still confined to the visual and auditory learning modalities. To extend it to cover kinesthetic learning modalities in the engineering fields laboratories has to be turned mobile. Here we present a new invention that achieves this goal at least in one of the engineering fields.
In this article a newly invented digital logic circuits design lab is presented, described, discussed, evaluated and shown how it can be used to provide the basis for class room and laboratory integration in its fields of digital logic circuits, computer circuits and computer control circuits design. It is also presented as an extender of the e-learning technology to cover practical experiments fields.
Furthermore other aspects that need further research and innovations in this field are indicated.
