The present research is on the view of "critical realism" (Roy Bhaskar) and its impacts on the current educational researches.
According to critical realism, ontology takes precedence over epistemology. In this regard, scientific research explores the subjects without considering their origins. Applying this view in social studies indicates the fact that the structures and mechanisms of social word form its "real entities". Social researchers, then, must not only identify these structures and mechanisms but also explain their application in the social word. Critical realism, based on Bhaskar's scientific realism,is a critical process in the social researches stressing on the application of social studies as a critical approach in researches. Such a process develops into the structural levels of issues pertinent to a given research. As a result, the research result in emancipation while encouraging people to review the social conditions and make the word a better place to live. Therefore, Bhaskar's influential view the imporant role of analysis in natural science research correlates the principles and features of educational research leading to a complex pattern in social research. Such a pattern is based on the hypothesis that there is a strong correlation and interrelation between the philosophical views and research process. Hence, a prominent feature of any beneficial research is its focus on the philosophical view. The essentially transformational nature of educational research is in congruence with the theoretical view of "critical realism" and social research in this regard, it could be argued that educational research could resemble the practicality of Bhaskar's "critical realism" view .
