The rapidly expanding information technology has had a significant impact on the practice of engineering. Further technological advances are progressing at an ever-increasing pace, and the challenges for educators to ensure that education is current, relevant and up to date are enormous indeed. Also, the expansion of engineering knowledge has brought about pressure on the breath and depth of engineering curricula. Creaming of every thing they need to know into the undergraduate program tends to submerge and can fuse the students understanding of fundamental principles of Engineering. It is important that graduates not only are provided with the necessary fundamentals on which professional practice is based, but that they are able to adapt to a dynamically evolving technological society. Learning as a life-long experience is emphasized .
