The rapid technological progress of the past century has deeply influenced communication, entertainment, and education, with interactive applications and video games becoming central to digital culture. Beyond recreational use, video games now serve educational purposes, offering simulations and tools for personal development.
This paper investigates the educational potential of video games by developing a mini-game with religious themes adapted to children’s level of understanding. The main objectives include: analyzing how modern technologies (Unity, C#, and multimedia elements) can be leveraged for education; examining different game genres to identify effective approaches to gamifying learning; and highlighting the stages of educational game development.
The study emphasizes the growing importance of digital learning, as interactive applications enable personalized, flexible, and engaging educational experiences. By incorporating religious content, the mini-game also supports spiritual development in younger audiences, showing how technology can be employed to transmit Christian values and teachings.
