Leadership and educational management play a crucial role in promoting the quality of work life for teachers, directly influencing the school environment and teacher motivation. This study aims to investigate how different leadership styles of educational managers affect the quality of work life, focusing on effective strategies for creating and maintaining a healthy and productive work environment. The research highlights that leaders who promote collaboration, mutual support, and recognition are essential for establishing a positive atmosphere where teachers feel valued and motivated.

To achieve these objectives, the research adopts a qualitative approach, characterized by an in-depth investigation of social phenomena, allowing for a richer and more contextualized understanding of individuals' experiences. The bibliographic research involves the analysis of works that discuss various types of leadership and their effectiveness, as well as the leadership characteristics that favor effective management, providing a solid theoretical foundation for the discussion. In this context, the study examines leadership styles such as autocratic, democratic, transformational, situational, servant, and laissez-faire. The discussion also expands to understand educational management in its traditional and democratic aspects, emphasizing that the strategies adopted by managers vary according to their leadership profile.

Quality of work life is understood as the valuation of teachers' health, seeking a balance between the desire for professional satisfaction and the organizational need to increase productivity. The results of the research are based on the analysis of documentary data, which involves analyzing relevant content to identify factors such as stress, anxiety, and mental health issues, considered significant challenges that affect teachers' well-being.

To mitigate these negative impacts, the study proposes a series of strategic actions that managers can implement, including: promoting continuous feedback to establish transparent dialogue and identify team concerns; offering training in stress management; creating healthy environments with rest areas and recreational activities; and implementing flexibility in work schedules, with options for adaptable hours and remote work.

In conclusion, the research emphasizes that effective leadership is fundamental to promoting the quality of work life for teachers. In a context of increasing pressure and demands, it is vital for leaders to adopt approaches that favor a healthy and productive work environment. Proactive crisis management, which involves identifying potential problems and developing appropriate action plans, is essential for improving teachers' quality of work life. The findings of this study provide valuable insights that can inform the formulation of more effective educational policies, significantly contributing to the well-being and motivation of teachers.
