In engineering education, control systems courses often focus on idealized models, overlooking the real-world conditions faced by modern autonomous systems, such as external disturbances and sensor noise. This omission limits students' practical understanding and their preparedness for complex technical challenges.

To address this gap between theory and application, an educational simulation-based resource was developed for intermediate-level students. This resource uses a dynamic quadrotor model implemented in MATLAB Simulink, allowing students to explore and understand how disturbances and noise affect system behavior. Key concepts such as sensitivity functions, complementary sensitivity, and frequency-domain filtering techniques are covered.

The tool is designed to foster active learning by enabling experimentation and visual analysis of how external signals influence a realistic control system. The proposal is framed within innovative educational approaches that prioritize the integration of technical and transversal skills, promoting a more contextualized, critical, and industry-aligned learning experience.

This resource is expected to enhance systems thinking, increase student motivation, and improve preparedness for advanced studies in control engineering, aiming for an improved understanding of the relationship between theoretical knowledge and its application, strengthening the connection between academic training and real-world professional demands.
