Both students and teachers are still in the process of exploring the potential and limitations of AI tools for learning and teaching, respectively. Many educators express concern that AI may lead to student passivity and hinder the development of independent problem-solving skills. However, as AI is becoming an integral part of modern life, it is crucial for academic environments to embrace the opportunities these tools offer.

For educators, this presents both a challenge and an exciting opportunity: to understand how AI can be meaningfully integrated into the classroom in ways that go beyond plagiarism or providing instant answers to diverse student tasks.

Business English courses offer numerous opportunities to teach students how to use AI tools productively and constructively. These tools can support language acquisition and the development of business communication skills. More broadly, such courses provide a platform for introducing students to responsible and effective uses of ChatGPT in academic settings.

The aim of this paper is to present a set of guided in-class activities that incorporate the use of ChatGPT in Business English courses at the Faculty of Economics and Business, University of Zagreb. These activities are designed to help students acquire business vocabulary, deepen their understanding of business concepts, and encourage autonomous learning through AI-assisted tools.

Keywords: Business English, English for Specific Purposes, classroom activities, AI tools, ChatGPT.
