Today there are web-based learning tools that are very popular due to the visual and dynamic content they offer. The constant development of digital technologies has diversified learning resources, and educational videos have become popular among students who use them to complete schoolwork.

In many countries, the development of computational thinking (problem decomposition, algorithms, abstraction, etc.) is included in K-12 education, while problem solving through software is more of a professional competency. This competency is difficult to develop because the process of building logic is both systematic and individualized. Although generative artificial intelligence is now used to produce code, the generated code is not error-free and must be debugged by a programmer that understands the problem in a holistic way.

This paper introduces COVIA, a system that provides a personalized learning environment by integrating three key components: short educational videos, a computational notebook, and an artificial intelligence module. COVIA uses video-based learning (VBL) to present course content through short videos, a computational notebook to develop and debug programs in real time, and an artificial intelligence module to detect the user's learning style, emotions, and personality. The goal is to provide appropriate educational resources and make the learning process more efficient.

Keywords: Video-based learning, notebook, programming, artificial intelligence.
