The rapid integration of artificial intelligence into educational technologies is transforming the way students learn, collaborate, and engage in higher education. This paper explores the adoption and pedagogical impact of AI-based digital platforms in the E-Business and Management program at a Slovak university, focusing on the practical implementation of tools such as ChatGPT, Canva AI, Notion AI, and Microsoft 365 Copilot.

The study is based on a quantitative survey conducted among bachelor’s and master’s students in the E-Business and Management program. Data were collected using a combination of electronic and paper-based questionnaires, with a total of 147 valid responses. The survey investigates how students use AI-enhanced tools for academic purposes (e.g., content creation, data analysis, project collaboration), their perceived usefulness, and their influence on digital competencies and autonomous learning.

Findings reveal that AI-based platforms support personalized learning, foster creative thinking, and improve students’ readiness for digital workplaces. The paper also identifies challenges related to overreliance on AI-generated content and the need for ethical guidance in tool usage.

The study concludes with practical recommendations for integrating AI-based platforms into business-oriented curricula, emphasizing the balance between automation and critical thinking, the importance of ethical AI literacy, and the pedagogical value of embedding digital tools into collaborative and project-based learning formats.
