The article aims to present the development of a Digital Educational Material (MED) to help seniors create stop motion films. Each year, the number of older people interested in using digital technologies increases and, with this context, the need to create diversified materials for this audience. A MED is a resource that uses technologies to be created and distributed. Thus, CineIMotion allows the elderly to autonomously author stop motion films. The methodology was qualitative and considered the 5 steps in the ConstruMED method: Preparation, Planning, Implementation, Evaluation, Distribution. The target audience were elderly people who participated in a distance extension course at a Brazilian university in the year 2021 [name omitted for anonymity]. For data collection, an online questionnaire regarding the CineIMotion evaluation was used. Participants were 27 elderly people, 81.5% (n=22) female and 5.5% (n=5) male. The results obtained showed that 88.8% of the participants evaluated the MED as a possible material to be used to build a film autonomously. Therefore, it is understood that CineIMotion brings innovation to education in two aspects: the first refers to the availability of an instrument aimed at creating stop motion films that can be used by teachers in digital inclusion courses, or by students of standalone mode. The second is the CineIMotion Community, which is an open space for sharing links to films produced by the elderly who used the material.
