ATTITUDES OF FACULTY MEMBERS TOWARDS USING INFOGRAPHICS IN DISTANCE LEARNING

This study aimed at recognizing the attitudes of faculty members towards the use of infographics in distance learning. The descriptive approach was used. In order to fulfill the aim of the study, data were collected through the use of a questionnaire. The population of the study consisted of all male and female faculty members of King Saud University. The sample consisted of (172) male and female faculty members in the humanities colleges who were selected through purposive sampling. Results showed the existence of a very positive attitude of faculty members towards the use of infographics in distance learning. Results also indicated the absence of statistically significant differences in the attitudes of faculty members towards the use of infographics in distance learning that are attributed to variables of gender, specialization, and experience. In the light of these results, the researcher recommends the necessity of training male and female faculty members on using infographics in the field of education due to the faculty members' positive attitude towards it.
