This work presents the revitalization and relaunch of a Masters Program in Engineering Entrepreneurship and Innovation (MEEI) at the W Booth School of Engineering Practice and Technology at McMaster University. The program delivers a modern curriculum via a set of progressive and forward-looking pedagogy, following two non-negotiable guidelines: 1. The W Booth School's Ethos which believes that any student with a suitable background and aspiration should have the right to university education, and 2. Consideration of Equity Diversity and Inclusivity. An efficacious deployment of such a curriculum is aimed to produce capable graduates who will excel in leading human-centric enterprise initiatives in the society that are based on the principles of ethics, sustainability and social responsibility. Particularly, the focus has been on developing an inclusive and sustainable education schema to provide competencies in the focus area of Corporate Innovation, and Entrepreneurship. In undertaking the complete overhaul, this large-scale transformation of the curriculum and the pedagogical strategy is based on the ethos of the W Booth School, emphasizing on utilizing the strengths of the school in delivering modular and flexible curriculum, and integrating the MEEI program with the sibling programs within the school. Special emphasis has been on taking a people-centered approach and adopting modern flexible digital pedagogical formulations that places learning first, helping us accelerate the knowledge and skills base of our students. Further, adopting optimized assessment schemas and EDI centric pedagogies that encourage students to take risks and pursue exploratory learning outside the curriculum to push the envelope of learning, we showcase a program that will enable us to offer a curriculum without negatively impacting the wellness of the students. The students will be excelling at innovation, entrepreneurship, and discovery, and be transformed into lifelong learners, providing the necessary impetus to graduate an enlightened and entrepreneurial citizenry who will be sensitive to the health, wellness and the future of our world. We presents a detailed framework to launch such a new program that delivers authentically complex and relevant skills and competencies in McMaster’s priority fields. McMaster and many global institutions can adopt such a progressive framework to revitalize existing programs or launch new programs.
