Generation Z, who grew up in a digitally connected, technologically advanced, and globalized world, exhibits unique entrepreneurial intentions. Permanent access to information, social networks and rapid changes in the labor market have shaped their technological literacy, propensity for innovation and the way they perceive entrepreneurship. Although they face numerous challenges in starting their businesses, they also bring fresh perspectives and innovative ideas, redefining traditional approaches to entrepreneurship. In addition, the acquired knowledge and skills, together with the digital age environment in which they grow up, are key factors shaping their entrepreneurial spirit. In this context, it is important to explore how these elements influence their entrepreneurial intentions, the challenges they face and the opportunities they recognize in the business environment.
This research analyzes key factors that contribute to the formation of entrepreneurial tendencies among young people born between 1997 and 2012, including education, technological literacy, social influences and the perception of entrepreneurship as a career option. A special focus is placed on the role of education in developing an entrepreneurial mindset, examining how education level, field of study, and access to digital resources influence Generation Z's interest in starting their own business. In addition to educational factors, the research also examines the influence of family, social networks, and the technological environment on young people's entrepreneurial aspirations.
