The study explores the implications of multiculturalism in the educational process, focusing on intercultural dimensions and their impact on teaching and communication. In a globalized world characterized by ethnic, linguistic, and religious diversity, education plays a crucial role in fostering intercultural understanding and inclusion. The research highlights how cultural diversity, rather than being a challenge, can be leveraged as an educational resource that enriches the learning experience and fosters tolerance, cooperation, and global competencies.

A key aspect analyzed is the importance of didactics and communication in a multicultural context. Effective teaching in such settings requires sensitivity to cultural differences, adaptation of curricula, and the development of intercultural competencies. The study emphasizes inclusive teaching strategies that promote dialogue, respect, and collaboration among students from different backgrounds.

Through a questionnaire applied to students in multicultural educational environments in Moldova and France, the study identifies common stereotypes and prejudices that may hinder the learning process. The findings reveal that while students generally value intercultural interactions, there are still cases of discrimination, language barriers, and social tensions arising from cultural differences. The research suggests that intercultural education should focus on dismantling stereotypes and promoting empathy, critical thinking, and respect for cultural diversity.

The study concludes that fostering an inclusive educational environment requires continuous teacher training, curriculum adaptation, and the encouragement of intercultural communication. By embracing multicultural education, societies can better prepare students for the complexities of a diverse and interconnected world. The research advocates for a proactive approach to intercultural learning, ensuring that education serves as a bridge for social cohesion and global citizenship.
