With the technological advancement of society, innovative educational trends are coming to the forefront. These can be observed across various sectors of the economy. One such sector is that of international enterprises. The primary purpose of this article is to analyze the education process and identify key factors supporting innovative educational methods in relation to different age categories within a company. Within the analysis of the education process, we focused on a comprehensive situational analysis of the subsidiary company Lyreco operating in the Slovak market. The research involved 120 employees aged from 18 to 70 years. We did not find significant differences in the application of educational methods in terms of gender. However, we did find a correlation between generational cohort, length of employment, and the application of educational methods. We also found that the application of an appropriate educational method can significantly enhance employees' intrinsic motivation to achieve better work performance. Employees belonging to generational cohorts Y and Z prefer the use of innovative educational methods such as brainstorming, AI, microlearning, and mentoring, and are more motivated towards better work outcomes. Conversely, employees with shorter employment periods tend to apply traditional educational methods such as skills-based learning. We also found a correlation with traditional educational methods among employees belonging to generational cohorts Baby Boomers and X. Employees who have been with the company for 6 to 10 years prefer innovative educational methods more than those who have been with the company for less than 6 years or more than 10 years. In the discussion section of the article, we identified international perspectives of authors on the issues we examined. In this section, we also identified overlaps in the utilization of current educational trends for individual generational cohorts and compared them with international research in the relevant field.
