Introduction:
The aim of the study is to evaluate the effectiveness of the educational process of undergraduate physical education students in the field of postural health. As part of the educational process, students learn to analyze the correct and incorrect posture of their own figure, to identify deviations in posture and to apply the appropriate exercises to correct them. Emphasis is placed on the practical skills that students acquire in postural correction, aiming to enhance the quality of their postural health and develop competencies applicable in practice.

Methods:
The study sample consisted of 36 undergraduate students from the Faculty of Sports at the University of Prešov. The average age was 24,11 ± 2,98, body height 177 ± 0.09 cm, body weight 72.44 ± 10.17 kg, and body mass index (BMI) 2.99 ± 2.23. The methodology used was the pedagogical method of posture by Klein and Thomas, modified by Mayer.

Results:
The results indicate that the average posture score was 1.78 points. Furthermore, 78% of the students exhibited good posture, while 16% demonstrated poor posture. Kyphotic deviation with forward posture of the head and shoulders was the most common. Scoliotic posture with a deviation of up to 10 degrees was found in 50% of the students. The findings were surprising even to the participants themselves, which further increased their interest in the topic.

Conclusion:
The study has shown the positive impact of this educational approach on improving students' physical health, as well as their ability to guide and motivate clients in postural prevention and correction.
