THE CONTRIBUTION OF ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE IN ROBOTIC PROCESS AUTOMATION DEVELOPMENT
M.I. Vulpe, S. Stancu
The importance and relevance of developing software that makes employees' daily work much more easier has begun to grow, being of interest to entire business areas. Developing such software is not only a responsibility, but also a challenge, the edges of which are no longer outlined or delimited, since the possibilities of integration, especially with AI, have gained their momentum.
The integration of these types of software, such as Robotic Process Automation (RPA), with Artificial Intelligence (AI), that can represent a majority these days, is the trend that increases the upward slope of such software developments. This study aims to analyze the increasing importance of developing AI driven RPA solutions in improving business engagement using personalized learning approaches depends on the business areas of interest as Kanakov mentioned in article ‘Analysis and applicability of artificial intelligence technologies in the field of RPA software robots for automating business processes’ [1].
The analysis approached is a comparison between what we described in previous studies as being of interest, the implementation of automated solutions and these solutions scaled according to business needs and requirements, at another level, with the help of artificial intelligence integrations. In addition to this comparative analysis, we also used a questionnaire designed to obtain feedback that measured expectations regarding technology integration and the degree of satisfaction in terms of engagement. The results of the quantitative analysis reveal that clients who use such integrations in their businesses demonstrate that a 25% higher level of engagement (p < 0.01) and a 20% improvement from the very first trials.
These findings confirm our hypothesis that RPA-AI driven processes enhance business flows because not only do they have the role of optimizing processes according to business needs, but they can also expand areas of interest because they present much broader capabilities than a standalone RPA. So, besides the fact that it is an increase in terms of trust and performance of the technology, until now, there were many flows that could not be approached from such a perspective because the simple technology did not have the expertise in AI applicability. Following the favorable results of this research, we come up with a recommendation and a way to guide such approaches from a pedagogical teaching and learning point of view, so that new generations can integrate knowledge from fields and business areas to which they have access after graduating much more quickly and easily. A relevant topic that can be addressed later, given the perspective opened by this paper, is the share of success and improvement in each topic business field after implementing such intelligent solutions.
