As Artificial Intelligence (AI) reshapes society, the demand for digital literacy and computational thinking in education has become increasingly urgent. However, many educators lack the tools, confidence, and interdisciplinary approaches to integrate these concepts into their teaching practices effectively. This research introduces the AIM (Artificial Intellgence Mission) for Education project, a scalable professional development program designed to equip educators with practical strategies for incorporating AI and computational thinking into diverse subjects, including languages, arts, and sciences. The project outlines a framework consisting of five comprehensive training modules that address foundational AI concepts, ethical considerations, hands-on practice with AI-powered tools, and cross-disciplinary teaching methodologies. In addition to addressing the immediate needs of educators, the project emphasizes the importance of fostering ethical AI literacy, enabling teachers to guide students in critically engaging with emerging technologies. The program aims to identify key barriers to AI integration in education by leveraging a mixed-methods research approach and providing actionable solutions. This initiative represents a significant step toward bridging the gap between technological advancements and classroom implementation, ensuring that educators are equipped to prepare students for a rapidly changing digital landscape. Ultimately, AIM for Education prepares educators to navigate an increasingly AI-driven world and supports the development of students’ critical thinking and digital competencies.
