ENHANCING ETHICAL AWARENESS IN UNDERGRADUATE EDUCATION: A SAUDI ARABIAN EXPERIENCE

Ethics in higher education plays an indispensable role in the development of future professionals who can handle intricate societal challenges. This paper reviews how Saudi Arabian higher education integrates ethical frameworks into undergraduate curricula, using a case study from Prince Sultan University. It explores how tailored courses foster ethical awareness, cultural competence, and critical thinking among students.
Methodologically, this research uses surveys, interviews, and curriculum analysis in assessing the effectiveness of such initiatives. The findings underline a number of key strategies which align with the socio-cultural specifics of Saudi Arabia. These findings add to the broader understanding of ethical education in a global context and provide actionable insights for educators and policymakers seeking to nurture ethically conscious graduates in diverse educational environments.
