Educational models and teaching methods in Spanish universities have undergone many changes in recent years. These changes, combined with changes in legislation, as well as new technologies and innovations introduced into university teaching, have created a new paradigm in the way this teaching can and should be delivered. One such innovation is Artificial Intelligence. This technology, which is widely used in other areas of life such as production or logistics, has made a strong entry into the world of education and university teaching. In this sense, its impact in this field is seen not only in the possibility it offers to create and establish new teaching tools, but also in how its use by students can have repercussions on teaching methods already used in the classroom. In this context, there are many concerns highlighted by teachers about the fraudulent use that students are beginning to make of Artificial Intelligence tools (e.g. ChatGPT) to solve tasks such as essays or development questions. In light of this situation, this paper aims to analyse this impact and determine how Artificial Intelligence is being introduced into the classroom. To this end, a structured literature review in this field (the use of AI by students and teachers in university teaching) will be carried out, the analysis of which will allow us to identify teaching trends related to AI, as well as the impact and worrying considerations related to this trend.
