CREATING KNOWLEDGE TESTS AND TEST QUESTIONS USING ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE

The development of artificial intelligence and the intensive expansion of its use in education raise a number of educational and methodological problems that need to be addressed. Artificial intelligence is integrated into traditional digital literacy tools and is becoming a new educational technology. A new area of competence is AI literacy and AI culture, which affect the content and methods of IT teaching. Using the example of creating tests and test questions using AI, we describe not only the advantages and the correct way to use it (taking into account the basic principles of its functioning), but also point out the disadvantages and risks of its use. We draw attention to the importance of incorporating AI into teacher education programs to acquire the necessary literacy and culture of using AI tools and to develop critical thinking. In the methodological subjects of the study program, future teachers will learn how to build digital literacy and culture in students, whom they will not only educate but also prepare for life in the 21st century, in which the rate of use of artificial intelligence and its methods will constantly increase. When teaching, it is necessary to take into account the educational and training goals of the learner's mental and cognitive abilities, as well as the ethical and legal aspects of the use of digital technologies.
