In the modern, rapidly changing workplaces, Continuous Vocational Education and Training (CVET) has become a must for the development of staff competencies. In Georgia, changes in technologies and jobs dynamism have led to a great need for the setting up of CVET programs for skill development in both organizations and further employees' growth.

This research surveys CVET's contribution to the improvement of the skills of staff in Georgia, based exclusively on qualitative methodologies. Through in-depth interviews with Human Resources professionals and organizational leaders across a variety of industries, the research investigates how CVET initiatives address skills gaps and adjust to evolving industry demands, contributing to employees' professional growth.

It helps in the development of a more nuanced view of the main elements that make CVET effective, including the need for training content to be aligned with industry needs, mentorship opportunities, and support by the organization.

The study underlines the qualitative dimensions of CVET that drive successful skill development and offers actionable insights for educational institutions, businesses, and policymakers. These findings will contribute to academic discussions about workforce development while guiding the design and implementation of more impactful CVET programs in Georgia. It has demonstrated, through the qualitative aspects of the CVET role in skill enhancement, the importance of the program in the creation of a competent and adaptable workforce ready to face modern workplace challenges.

The study points out that the availability of CVET programs in Georgia is not adequate to answer the increasing demand for workforce development. This needs to be expanded in terms of accessibility and raising awareness about the programs, ensuring in a coherent way that the preparation of the workforce for evolving labor market requirements is guaranteed.
