With the advancement of technology and the digitalization of education, traditional teaching methods are rapidly giving way to innovative and more effective forms of learning. In the modern world, internet-based learning platforms have become a key tool for education, providing opportunities for access to knowledge to students from anywhere in the world. In the context of these changes, the use of HTML (HyperText Markup Language), CSS (Cascading Style Sheets), JavaScript, Php (Hypertext Preprocessor (originally meant Personal Home Page)), React, Vue.js, MySQL (My Structured Query Language) and many others to develop such platforms offers significant advantages.
Internet-based learning environments not only facilitate access to learning materials, but also provide interactive opportunities that traditional learning cannot offer. They allow learners to learn at their own pace, interact with learning materials in an interactive way, and receive immediate feedback.
The report presents the development of an internet-based environment using basic technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, PHP, MySQL, Bootstrap, React and some others, with which to achieve an attractive and user-friendly design.
When developing the internet-based environment, the author uses the Agile methodology approach. This approach provides flexibility and the opportunity for iterative improvement of the project. The project is divided into small, manageable stages, with each iteration ending with a functioning version of the platform that is tested and evaluated.
The following technologies were used for the development and implementation of the project.
Frontend/frontend technologies - The main frontend technologies included in the development are:
- HTML (Hypertexts Markup Language): a fundamental language for creating and structuring web pages.
- CSS (Cascading Style Sheets): a language used to describe the visual layout and styling of HTML documents.
- JavaScript: JavaScript is a programming language that adds interactivity and dynamic behavior to web pages.
Backend/Backend technologies:
- PHP (Hypertext Preprocessor): a widely used open source programming language that is particularly suitable for web development and can be embedded directly into HTML.
- Database Management Systems (DBMS)
- MySQL – The project uses MySQL, which is one of the most popular and widely used relational database management systems (RDBMS).
