Visual collaboration applications provide dynamic and interactive platforms that can significantly enhance the delivery and engagement of web seminars in university education. These tools support a wide range of academic activities by enabling collaborative brainstorming, project management, and efficient knowledge sharing through features such as automatic clustering, shape recognition, and template suggestions. Enhanced by artificial intelligence, these applications improve usability, streamline workflows, and foster a more engaging and productive learning environment. This paper proposes a set of alternative visual collaboration applications, offering a comprehensive comparison across various dimensions, including collaboration features, integrations, ease of use, and ideal use cases for university degree classes. It explores how these tools leverage AI to enhance their functionality, offering smarter automation, content suggestions, and real-time collaboration enhancements. By examining these applications, the paper highlights how they can be effectively integrated into university classrooms to promote active learning, support creative ideation, and simplify administrative tasks, ultimately improving the overall educational experience.
