The field of engineering and manufacturing education is currently encountering many new challenges, including digitisation and learning diversity, industry requirements, and sustainability. These challenges and needs from the students, industry, and society motivate us to explore innovative immersive learning using WebAR technology.

This paper will showcase a selection of use cases that we are building:
- Work-based skill practice: Using interactive 3D WebAR and online quizzes to provide a novel way to practice engineering material selection.
- Supporting interdisciplinary experiences: Employing interactive 3D WebAR and Padlet to evaluate digital retail solutions that enable clients to customize 3D engineering products before placing orders.
- Promoting sustainable practices: Using interactive 3D maps and 3D animations to support students in conducting sustainability assessments for supply chain routing and transportation.

This paper aims to inspire innovative immersive learning to improve the quality of engineering education, meet students’ and industries’ needs, and foster a culture of sustainability development.
