EMOSYNC is a brand of design work dedicated to helping teenagers develop emotional resilience and intelligence. Its mission is to guide young people toward self-understanding, enhance their emotional intelligence, stabilize their emotions, and ultimately lead them toward personal success. By fostering these skills, EMOSYNC aims to contribute to more harmonious families and a more stable society. EMOSYNC is inspired by the RULER method of Emotional Intelligence learning, developed by the Yale Center for Emotional Intelligence. The RULER framework encompasses five key skills: Recognize, Understand, Label, Express, and Regulate.

During the Recognize emotion stage, EMOSYNC offers an array of visual scenarios that allow teenagers to connect with and identify their emotions, fostering empathy and understanding. Tools like The Wheel of Emotions by Dr. Robert Plutchik and the Mood Meter by Marc Brackett, Founding Director of the Yale Center for Emotional Intelligence, assist teenagers in distinguishing and categorizing their emotions more accurately.

In the Understand emotional stage, EMOSYNC employs The Wheel of Emotions to help teenagers break down and attribute their feelings, preventing confusion with pseudo-emotions and manifestations of resistance to emotions.

For the Label emotional stage, EMOSYNC utilizes strategies such as Emotional Equations, The Hierarchy of Competence Model, the Mood Meter, and Bodily Maps of Emotions—widely recognized in psychology—to assist teenagers in precisely naming their emotions. This process helps reduce anxiety and distress associated with emotional uncertainty.

During the Express emotional stage, EMOSYNC engages teenagers with interactive games to help them gauge their emotional intensity and life direction. This empowers them to develop personalized strategies and effective emotional management plans.

In the Regulated emotional stage, EMOSYNC features visual Mindful Movements videos that guide teenagers through quick warm-up exercises designed to restore calmness and prevent emotional or physical injury.

By integrating these stages, EMOSYNC provides a comprehensive framework for teenagers to enhance their mental well-being and resilience.
