Training in graphic design, computer graphics and digital photography is an essential element of the creative industries, which are concerned not only with the actual creation of content but, in recent years, also with its marketing. Today, many industries face challenges related to rapid technological developments and increasing demands on students' skills. The graphic design and visual arts sector is no exception, and we are witnessing a significant shift. Traditional techniques that have shaped the industry are merging with modern technology and artificial intelligence (AI).

This article explores how AI can intervene in the educational environment to push the boundaries of what can be achieved. Based on the data collected, the paper provides an overview of students' existing knowledge of graphic design and identifies areas where their skills can be enhanced. In addition, the paper focuses on suggestions and strategies for incorporating AI into the educational process to help students better understand complex topics, hone their skills, expand their knowledge and encourage creative thinking. Specific examples of applications that could be useful in this context are presented and the ethical and legal aspects of their implementation are discussed. Overall, this article provides a comprehensive view of the potential (r)evolution that AI can bring to the world of graphic design and digital education.
