Looking at the technological evolution of mankind, we notice the increasingly pronounced acceleration of the changes caused by it in the last decades, both within organizations and in the daily life of society members. Keeping certain of our older concerns related to the changes generated by the industrial revolutions, we have prepared this paper with the aim of discovering the ways in which these changes can be beneficial to different communities. Specifically, we wanted to get suggestions related to possible improvements in the life of organizations generated by technological changes from university graduates working in different organizations in Romania. The paper begins with an analysis of the importance of technology for modern man in general and for graduates and students of technical universities in particular. Some of the results of a questionnaire-based research were then selected, comparing the opinions of graduates of a Romanian university with those of other employees, regarding some possible effects of the current technological changes in organizations. The third part of the paper includes the results of an interview-based research, carried out in May of this year, with students from the last year of bachelor's and master's specializations of an engineering faculty in Romania, employed in different companies. We appreciate the respondents' suggestions as extremely valuable for the actions that should be taken in organizations for a more complete capitalization of the current technological changes, but also for the actions that should be taken in higher technical education in Romania. The most important conclusion of the paper is that the connection between organizations and the academic environment must be ever closer, so that technological changes cause, as far as possible, only positive effects in society.
