The global educational landscape is increasingly recognizing the profound impact of mental health on both student and teacher performance. This session aims to explore the intricate relationship between mental health and educational outcomes, highlighting how mental well-being influences teaching effectiveness, student engagement, and overall learning environments.

Session Goals:
1) Examine the Global Impact of Mental Health on Education:
Participants will gain insights into how mental health issues, both prevalent and emerging, affect educational settings worldwide. The session will address various aspects including the impact on student learning, classroom dynamics, and educator performance, drawing from global case studies and recent research.
2) Identify and Discuss Effective Strategies for Supporting Mental Health:
Attendees will learn about practical strategies and best practices for promoting mental health within educational environments. This will include approaches for supporting educators, such as implementing school-based mental health programs, creating supportive school climates, integrating mental health education into curricula, and development of a tool kit for emotional success.
3) Develop Actionable Plans for Implementation:
Participants will engage in interactive discussions to develop actionable plans for integrating mental health support into their own educational contexts. The session will also cover strategies for influencing and prioritizing mental health and well-being at all levels.
