ENHANCING BUSINESS MANAGEMENT LEARNING WITH PROJECT-BASED THROUGH THE BUSINESS MODEL CANVAS

The use of Business Model Canvas (BMC), as project-based learning methodology, offers a dynamic approach to education that fosters innovation, critical thinking, and practical skills. BMC engages students of the subject bussiness management in real- world challenges, encouraging them to apply theoretical knowledge to practical problems. This learning method which consists of nine essential building blocks that bring together the entire business network that makes up a small company (customer segments, value propositions, channels, customer relationships, revenue streams, key resources, key activities, key partnerships, and cost structure) helps students systematically develop and refine their business ideas. This fact is due to students can map out and visualize each component of their business model, ensuring a comprehensive understanding of how businesses operate, and the practical application of the theory taught by the professor.

This study shows the opinions collected in three successive academic years from students of the subject "introduction to business management". The results obtained show that this methodology allows students to understand much better the application of the different techniques seen in class and serves to reinforce the key concepts of the subject. In addition, it allows students to lose the fear of interviewing people they do not know, which gives them transversal communication skills that will help them in the future.

In conclusion, integrating the Business Model Canvas into project-based learning provides a robust educational experience in the subject business management. It not only teaches students the intricacies of business development but also equips them with essential skills for their future careers.
