This report examines the development and implementation of a program for social interaction between students – future social educators and elderly people. The program aims to create mutually enriching relationships that support the social integration and emotional well-being of the elderly, while also providing students with valuable skills and experience in intergenerational communication and care.

The program is based on a model of active participation, where students – future social educators and elderly people engage in a variety of joint activities, including educational seminars, cultural events, sports activities, and creative workshops. The study involves assessing the impact of these activities on social isolation, cognitive functions, and the overall health status of the elderly participants.

Data are collected through self-assessment questionnaires and observations conducted before, during, and after the program's implementation. The results show a significant improvement in social engagement and life satisfaction among the elderly, as well as the development of empathy and communication skills among the students – future social educators.

This study highlights the importance of social interactions in improving the quality of life for the elderly and in promoting intergenerational connections. The program demonstrates an effective model for creating a sustainable social network that benefits both the students – future social educators and the elderly participants, and provides practical guidelines for application in other communities.
