REFUGEE, MIGRANT AND MINORITY INCLUSION AT THE UNIVERSITY OF ŽILINA: CHALLENGES AND OPPORTUNITIES FOR COMPREHENSIVE SUPPORT

The article deals with the issue of inclusion of refugees, migrants and minorities at the University of Žilina. It analyses the current integration policies and initiatives of the university that promote inclusion and diversity among students and staff. The results show that University of Žilina actively strives to create a welcoming and supportive environment for all students, however, challenges such as language barriers, cultural differences and the need for psychological support are also identified. The article offers recommendations for improving integration processes and promoting an inclusive atmosphere, including suggestions for improving language support, cultural activities and psychological support. These measures could contribute to a better integration of refugees, migrants and minorities into the academic and social life of the university, while also emphasizing their psychological well-being and emotional support.
