INTEGRATION OF SUSTAINABILITY IN THE AEROSPACE SECTOR IN MEXICO FROM A SOCIOENVIRONMENTAL PERSPECTIVE

In recent years, the aerospace sector in Mexico has experienced remarkable growth, positioning itself as one of the country's main economic drivers. However, this accelerated development has also raised concerns about its environmental and social impact. Integrating sustainable practices in this sector is crucial to mitigate negative effects and promote more balanced and responsible development.
The objective of this study is to assess the degree of sustainability integration in the aerospace sector in Mexico from a socioenvironmental perspective. It aims to identify current practices, challenges faced, and opportunities to improve sustainability in the sector's operations and policies.
The research was conducted using a combination of qualitative and quantitative methodologies. The main techniques employed include field observation, meetings, and interviews.
The study results revealed a growing awareness of the importance of sustainability in the Mexican aerospace sector. Some of the key conclusions include current practices, challenges, and opportunities to achieve sustainability integration in the aerospace sector in Mexico from a socioenvironmental perspective.
