This paper deals with the topics of artificial intelligence and personnel development. A qualitative study is carried out for this purpose. The research methods consist of guided interviews and subsequently qualitative content analysis according to Mayring. A guiding questionnaire for expert interviews was designed with the help of the literature research.
The important research tasks in this article include Comparisons of traditional and AI-supported methods in personnel development; Effects on employee motivation and learning success through AI; Ethical and data protection aspects of AI use; Acceptance of AI-supported learning management systems.
The following research results can be obtained:
1. Application of AI in training and further education compared to traditional methods brings numerous advantages, but AI-based approaches cannot fully replace traditional personnel development methods in the future.
2. AI systems can help to make learning and training processes in a company more effective. However, the effects of AI-supported systems on employee motivation and learning success must be analyzed and considered very carefully. Otherwise, concerns or possible resistance on the part of employees can be expected when introducing AI-supported (LMS) systems.
3. There are a few factors of social influence and human-like characteristics of a system that play a role in acceptance of AI-based training.
4. Data protection and privacy must be considered primarily with regard to the use of AI in HR development in the organizational environment. Further ethical concerns need to be considered in relation to the use of AI in HR development.
5. it is important to ensure transparency and fairness in the development and implementation of AI systems in the training sector.
