The Cooperation Project ‘’Nursery-Classrooms in the Iberian Community: infrastructure provision and continuation of the training of professionals and families‘’ of the University of Valencia (20240239), aims to promote spaces for the continuous training of teachers from an inter- and multidisciplinary point of view. The teachers involved in the training belonged to different fields of knowledge, ranging from Health Sciences to Education Sciences, whose presence contributed to the enrichment of the future staff in charge of early childhood, who would have to participate in interdisciplinary teams. From the aforementioned project, it was considered that continuous teacher training should be complemented with certain psychological elements centred on emotional management, as well as focusing on children's rights. These new contents were added to others centred on psychomotor and artistic training, especially musical. It should be noted that teachers involved in early childhood care in El Salvador did not have easy access to postgraduate and continuous training programmes, nor did families have great facilities for training along the same lines, hence the need for this project. These training spaces focused on children's rights and emotional education were conceived as meeting points for children, families and specialist teachers, so that all those involved could participate in early stimulation and care activities, fostering links and initiating them in the development of their capacities and skills. Teacher training is in the process of being developed, but it has already become clear that there is an urgent need for specific multi-disciplinary in-service training, as reported by the country's teachers, who do not have easy access to such specific postgraduate studies by recognised specialists. This cooperation project was responding to: on the one hand, the needs detected in the active teaching staff and, on the other hand, the needs of the students' families, which were detected at the end of the previous project carried out in the 2022 call for proposals.
