The integration of simulation into legal education is not just a pedagogical enhancement but a necessity in today's complex and competitive legal environment. By bridging the gap between theory and practice, simulations prepare law students to become competent, ethical, and effective practitioners. Legal educators have traditionally relied on textbooks, case law, lectures, and the Socratic method to teach students the intricacies of law. However, the evolving landscape of the legal profession demands that law graduates not only possess theoretical knowledge but also practical skills that can be immediately applied in real-world scenarios. Integrating simulation into legal education is a powerful tool that bridges this gap, offering students a dynamic and interactive learning experience that mirrors actual legal practice. In this paper, it will be proposed that simulation is an important tool to utilise in most law modules within the legal curriculum. This paper will explore all benefits associated with implementing this teaching and learning tool especially as it relates to the Gen Z learner. Gen Z law students encounter unique challenges, and this paper will highlight the crucial role of simulations in enhancing the skills of these modern learners. An analysis will be conducted to propose strategies for integrating simulation tools into the legal curriculum. As legal education continues to evolve, the importance of simulation-based learning cannot be overstated, ensuring that future lawyers are well-equipped to meet the demands of their profession and serve their clients with the highest standards of excellence.
