NEW METHODS OF EDUCATION USING COACHING IN A UNIVERSITY ENVIRONMENT

The paper deals with the coaching approach as a tool for enhancing the performance of University students of management. The article aims to show the importance of the coaching approach in the field of business and management. The article focuses on the area of developing managerial skills through the coaching process. The paper involves the essentials of coaching, coaching basics, coaching models, and advantages and disadvantages within the university students of management. The research methodology included quantitative methods such as an online questionnaire that was distributed via electronic email and academic social networks and qualitative methods using interviews with students of business and economics. The aim is to find out to which extent the students use coaching in various spheres, e.g., personal coaching, career coaching, health and life coaching, etc. The results of the paper show the benefits of implementing of basics of coaching training and workshops in University students based on the survey conducted among the students not only from the branch business and management but also other branches. We identified a correlation between the successful accomplishment of coaching lessons and the usage of coaching approaches and methods and techniques used in coping strategies in everyday situations. Based on these findings, we propose a series of workshops and training aimed at increasing the implementation of coaching methods among business and management students. The obtained results show that it is necessary to implement resources during the educational process, to increase awareness of coaching in students and especially to provide students with the opportunity to work with coaches, which they could then use in practice after completing the lessons. The results focus on solving situations like physical or physical coaching, improvement of soft skills, i.e. team, communication skills, leadership skills, conflict solving and dealing with various situations in students' lives. Moreover coaching for management students is essential for the successful finalising of their studies of the management of their future career.
