This article proposes a thorough analysis of pedagogical aspects highlighting the importance of using games as a crucial element in the teaching and learning process. We will explore how these games can enrich students' educational experience, both in the traditional classroom setting and in educational computer lab environments. The focus will be on evaluating strategies for different types of games, investigating varied forms of engagement to promote more effective learning.
We will specifically highlight the relationship between educational work and digital games, with an emphasis on Role-Playing Games (RPGs). We will address their distinctive characteristics and potentials, emphasizing how these games uniquely promote cooperation and socialization among students. We will consider RPGs as an interdisciplinary educational tool, applicable across various age groups, offering an innovative and engaging approach to learning.
Throughout the article, we will critically examine how the use of digital games, especially RPGs, can be effectively integrated into the educational environment, aiming to enrich not only the curriculum but also the social and collaborative skills of students. We will explore case studies, empirical evidence, and recommended practices, highlighting how these approaches can significantly contribute to the promotion of a dynamic and stimulating educational environment. This article aims not only to discuss the theoretical relevance of educational games but also to provide practical insights for educators looking to implement innovative strategies in their teaching methods.
In this study, we aspire to establish a bridge between theory and practice, not only outlining the importance of educational games but also providing a practical roadmap for their effective implementation. We recognize that the successful integration of innovative strategies requires a deep understanding of educational dynamics, and it is in this context that this article seeks to provide concrete guidance for educators.
